CAN bus devices don't always sit conveniently next to a wired network, and CANcore is built to bridge that gap wirelessly. It's an industrial control board with two isolated CAN channels onboard, built around a dual-core processor running at up to 240MHz, with integrated 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 5 (LE) baked in. That combination means a CAN bus device, anything from an industrial controller to a vehicle system, can connect wirelessly instead of running a physical cable back to a host. Both CAN channels are isolated, backed by TVS diode, surge, and ESD protection, with a reserved 120-ohm matching resistor on each channel that's enabled through a jumper when proper bus termination is needed. Beyond the CAN interfaces, digital isolation on the whole board keeps external signal noise from interfering with operation, and a unibody power isolation design provides stable isolated voltage to the CAN terminals without needing a separate power supply for them. A USB Type-C port handles power, firmware flashing, and debugging, while a screw terminal accepts a wide 7 to 36V DC input for panel or vehicle power sources. An onboard RTC chip supports scheduled tasks even when the board isn't actively connected to WiFi. CANcore ships in a rail-mount protective case for straightforward cabinet installation, and it's available with either an onboard ceramic antenna or an external SMA antenna connector, depending on the RF environment it needs to work in. It supports both ESP-IDF and Arduino development, so integration fits whichever workflow a team already uses.
