Legacy serial equipment doesn't disappear just because a network went wireless, and SerialBridge WiFi exists to keep those devices talking. It's an industrial serial server and IoT gateway that bridges RS232 and RS485 devices onto WiFi or Ethernet, combining a serial server, Modbus gateway, MQTT gateway, and HTTP client into one small metal-cased unit. Whatever protocol conversion a legacy device needs, serial to WiFi, serial to Ethernet, or Ethernet to WiFi, it handles from a single box. Two versions cover different power setups. The standard SerialBridge WiFi runs on a 6 to 36V DC input through a power jack or screw terminal, while SerialBridge WiFi PoE adds Power over Ethernet as a third option, useful when running a separate power line to the install location isn't practical. Both share the same hardware otherwise: RS232 and RS485 ports with ESD, EFT, and surge protection, an RJ45 Ethernet port, and 802.11b/g/n WiFi supporting Station, AP, and AP+Station modes with WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK security.
