The compute module itself is not included, but the board accepts every variant of the module family, giving you flexibility on RAM and storage from the start. Networking is where this board pulls ahead of a typical single-board setup. You get one Gigabit Ethernet port and one 2.5G Ethernet port side by side, so the device can bridge or segment two networks at once, a common need in industrial monitoring and gateway setups. An M.2 B KEY socket accepts a 4G or 5G communication module (sold separately), turning the board into a cellular-connected edge node for sites without wired internet. Four RS485 terminals bring native industrial serial communication into the mix, letting the board talk directly to PLCs, sensors, and other Modbus-style field devices without an external converter. Storage and expansion round things out nicely. The M.2 M KEY slot supports 2230, 2242, and 2280 NVMe drives, which boot noticeably faster and more reliably than a microSD card under sustained industrial workloads, and it can just as easily host an AI acceleration module instead. An HDMI port drives 4K displays, a digital input and relay handle basic field I/O, and an onboard encryption chip adds a layer of hardware-level security for connected deployments. Power comes in over a wide 7V to 36V range, through either a screw terminal or a jack, so it fits panel-mounted and vehicle-powered installs just as easily as a bench supply. For teams that want a finished enclosure rather than a bare board, a boxed kit is also available, adding a metal case, a rail-mount bracket, and a power supply, so the whole unit can be DIN-rail mounted straight into a cabinet.
