Twilio Notification Module The Twilio Notification module integrates Twilio directly with Ignition, giving alarm pipelines a way to reach operators through SMS, voice calls, or WhatsApp, without any additional hardware. It unlocks the system.twilio scripting functions, so alarms can trigger notifications through Python scripts as well as through standard notification profiles. SMS notifications send alarm alerts as text messages, with no cellular modem required, just an internet-connected Gateway and a Twilio account with SMS capability. Voice notifications deliver a custom message through an automated phone call when an alarm triggers, with optional acknowledgment by pressing a key during the call, along with support for pin validation, broadcast calls, and call recording. WhatsApp notifications extend that same alerting into WhatsApp messaging. This module requires the Alarm Notification module to be installed and enabled on the same Gateway. Without it, Twilio Notification faults with a "Missing Dependency" warning.
